Finding it very difficult going out for meals - anyone else?

I went for dinner with friends on Thursday and literally EVERYTHING seemed to have partially cooked egg / blue cheese / rare meat / goat's cheese in it. Aargh!!! SO difficult when you're not telling anyone you're pregnant as you can't ask the waiter for clarification on anything!!

Hi Cashew,

Congratulations!
I haven't been out for a meal yet since I have found out although I did have to google things whilst doing my supermarket shopping!!
I read somewhere that I should eat even if I am not hungry so I am eating a lot more than I usally would, but not sure if its too early or not to be throwing everything down me! ha

Hi Andrea,

you dont have to 'eat for 2' just have to make sure you have a well balanced diet. You need a good breakfast, cereals are good as the contain lots of iron, vit etcs. Try to eat 5 portions of fruit and veg. Make sure all food is well cooked, no rare meet. Drink plently of fluids im drinking bottled water and fruit juice (noy from concentrate is better). Think thats about it, xx

Def dont go with the eating for 2. lol - but think the eat even if your not hungry is to kinda help with sickness - like you're meant to not let ur stomach get too empty. So little and often.

I've been out for dinner a few times - with folk who dont know - and i just stuck with safe stuff. like chicken, or pizza, lasagne.
