Ive joined a local food cooperative run through the community centre. I paid a fiver for a fruit n veg bag last week, just picked it up and I got:

a massive cabbage
a cauliflour
5 carrots
7 potatoes all big enough to have a jacket potatoes,
2 sweede
a brocolli

5 apples
4 pears
3 plums
5bananas
5 clementines

wooooow! Im so impressed for that price! Most of the stuff is fresh from a local farm, the guy said he picks them wednesday evening and we get them on thursday, it all smells amazing, like the stuff you get in farm shops (but obv a lot cheaper)

It well worth looking into getting this if you can find one locally. The more people join the better/more stuff you can get for your money.

Woah that's well good value for money!!! I spend a small fortune on fruit, might have to see if there's something local to me!

I'm 'friends' with the community centre on facebook and they posted about it on there. There are websites for them though
