My HV said to try giving Oliver solid food before bed to make him sleep longer in the night. Does any one else do this?

i used to give Colby quarter of rusk mushed with milk before bed
or depending what she had for breakfast i would maybe make a wee drop baby rice for her.
It does wonders :cheer:

Do you do a dreamfeed Jadie?

I tried everything with Brody, I'm not sure what did the trick in the end but I'm sure putting him down awake and giving him a dreamfeed had something to do with it.

Hope it gets better soon, I totally sympathise, Brody didn't sleep through till he was nine months exactly!

I tried dream feeding but it made no difference ( actually from me). I keep meaning to give him a bottle in his bed as you surgested but its hard to express n ow. I may try formula to do this.

i have been giving him porriage before bed, he is still waking twice but is going longer between feeds in the night. He has eaten his solids for 3 days too. But not hugh amounts. When I know he having loads of solids I am going to TRY and not feed him in the night. But I find it hard not responing to his crys.
