Has anyone found an easy way to fold up their Silvercross 3D pram? The instructions arent very clear and as far as I can tell you have to take the white moses basket bit out, the hood off and the sleeve bit off the end and then turn it into it's pushchair postition before folding it up. This seems to take ages and be quite difficult to remember if you are in a hurry, hence I havent gone in the car with the pram yet.

Can anyone help? Am I being thick again?!!!!

I've got a silver cross 3-D pram and I dont remove anything when I fold it up! It can be a bit stiff but I do manage eventually. The biggest problem I have is lifting it into the boot - it's sooo heavy!!!

Really! It all folds away? I read in the instructions that you can fold it with the white basket in it, but eventually it will start to buckle. How on earth do you fold it all in one go? Sorry, I know I am being dense!!!!

hello, i did a question on this under 'ask a mum section ' on 14 april- have a quick look if u like. I too could not understand how to fold it either i dont have a problem folding it in buggy mode only in pram mode. What i do is leave it in pram mode with the hood and liner in then push pram down clicking button on the handle and then pull the leaver up , the pram then folds together but not completley and stays half open . This is the only way i think to do it , im not even sure you can fold the pram in pram mode or if you have to have it in pushchair mode to fold it :wall: sorry, ive not been much help !

I'll try and explain how I do it!! Firstly I lift the little handle under the moses basket bit to raise it. Then I lift the levers on the handles and push the pram forwards and downwards to unlock it. Then pull up on the red handle. This almost folds it completely - if it is not complete than manually connect and lock the wheels and frame. This can be a bit stiff. It is also sometimes easier to lock the front wheels before starting the whole process. Sorry - this is probably as clear as mud!! I have to admit though I have never looked at the instructions, I let OH read them and then show me how to do it!!! Maybe I should go back and consult the product literature!!!

Thanks so much guys, that's really great, I'll get this sorted. It seems that most people fold it with the white liner in it, so I'll have a go - the more I do it, the more confirdent I'll be hopefully.

phew i done it. I am doing the same as Gene but wasnt manually locking and making sure wheels were locked. I feel a lot happier now as i really like the pram and it was bugging me ! The only downside is LO is 9 1/2 ib and looks like he is going to out grow the pram soon !! ggrrr

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it - this forum is great - someone always knows the answer!
