Flu Jab

Seems there are a lot of things we need when Pg. Seems silly that we don't get to see anyone till 12or13 weeks sometimes! Luckily I had my jab in October

I just thought I'd update, popped to Boots earlier, and apart from being annoyed that they made me say out loud, infront of other customers (it's a small place where I live), why I was entitled to an NHS jab instead of a private one, I just filled in a simple form and had it free!

You do get the exemption card in Wales, I have one! Not that my dentist looked at it, he said it was silly to have to show it if you're obviously pregnant. Not that I thought it was that obvious at that point :)

yeah we get a card at 24/25 weeks but its not really necessary and i thought it was for arranging mat leave lol not exemption from paying for stuff, gee i shoulda looked before my work stole the last one to send to head office

If you were on a trip to England and needed to see a GP would you have to pay then if you didn't have the exemption card? lol, don't know how that works! DH is from England and we stay with his family there so I stuck the card in my purse just in case. I suppose it would make it easier.

You don't have to pay to see the doctor here, it's not that bad yet! :-) I guess you'd need it for the prescription if you had one.
