For the first 5 months of my pregnancy I got bad headaches & quite alot of migraines so it was a huge relief when they went but they have come back, not as debilitating as they were tho, thank god. I've got a doctors appointment next week, just getting worried now as i've had one for 3 weeks straight now.
Keep thinking horrid thought now about whats causing them. :(

aww hun its probably to do with stress or someting you've eaten, sometimes a certain food can trigger headaches, like cheese. Or usually its hormones which are still probably here there and everywhere. I had a constant headache for a couple of weeks too and thank god its gone!

I know what you mean though I always think the worst, I can be a right hypercondiact (sp) at times hehe

I know this migt dound really stupid, but are you taking regular painkillers?

taking painkillers on a rgular basis can actually cause headaches as it is like your body crying out for them

After i had my accident i was taking lots of strong painkillers and if i didn't take them i would get blinding headaches, i had to go cold turkey fro a couple of days and they disapeared

Jo, I try not to take too many pills, I only take them if it gets really bad & stops me doing things but then it only dulls it, they never get rid of them all together.

I have thought it might be the stresses of hAVING A BAY AND RUNNING THE HOUSE (sorry for shouting!!) my DH as wonderful as he is doesn't do much around the house, if anything!, but its getting on for 4 1/2 months now so I should be used to it by now. Even when its my turn to have a lie in & DH is looking after little 'un I still get them :(

Aww hun
Jack is 10 months and i had a crying fit the other day, (tears snot, the high pitched wailing that only dogs can hear!!!!!!!) because i thought i was rubbish mum and housekeeper My Oh sounds a lot like yours i love him to bits but god i could strangle him at times

Don't think about the worse case scenarios, maybe you need glasses?

It probably is my DH that is giving me them

Went to the opticians last week & got my prescription updated. He said it wasn'y my eyes causing them but I do have a defective blood vessel  so has refered me to my doc.

Have you been to Drs yet about them???

HIya,

I got an appointment on Thursday, the first available one  I want to see my own doctor rather than a locum. I'm expecting him not to do much though. Still got one today but it not too bad at the mo.
It helps when Jamie goes to sleep

Hey there niki i have had the same thing a really bad headache for the past week now so bad its makes me feel physically sick and puts me off my food i went to the nurse and she told me that it was a tension headache and should go away (basically she put it down to stress) grr what do you expect looking after 2 lo's :x anyway she told me not to take the pain killers as it can give you a rebound headache and if its still the same in 2 wks then im to go back to her i actually have my appetite back for now but my head is still very much the same :( here's sending you big hugs though niki  -xxx-

Hi

sounds aweful i hope it stops for you soon, how did your appointment go?
Katrina

Thanks hun.
The doc gave me some prescription ibrupofen (sp?) which are stonger than normal ones & i've got an appointment to have a scan of my brain on the 7th November.

TBH i'm not expecting them to find anything wrong, I think its probably just the stresses of having a baby & a husband that doesn't do any housework!!
I said this to the doc & he thought I might have inflamed & trapped nerves in my neck causing the problem but also said it could be other nasty things as they have gone on for so long now which isn't normal even with stress & or nerves, so time will tell

Im sure it will all turn out to be ok niki the ibruprofen was what the nurse suggested to me but because i have asthma im not alloewd to take it. Fingers crossed though. -xx-

Thanks hun. I hope the tablets do work, got another stonker today, i'm getting sick of them

How's your head now?

Just when i thought it had gone its coming back i have a bit of a bad head and its peeing me off oh well not much i can do about it i guess? But hugs for us both though  -xx-
