Just been to see the midwife there, first of all everythings is fine with bubs and me, she forgot my anti-d, she couldn't spend too long with me as she had another appointment at a home visit so i was in and out in less than 10 minutes, and then i've not to see her again until 3 days before my due date when i go to see my consultant. Don't know if baby is engaged or bugger all else, i'm so pissed off right now.

So much for going every week in your last month :x

My midwife asked to see me next week again but she just said she wanted to keep an eye on me

:x How annoying for you Vicki

Id be peed off too, I have my appointment tomorrow, which should be just as informative

My midwife is the same - I am lucky if I am in there for more than 5 minutes. I have loads of questions including asking about group B strep but I always feel guilty that they are busy and decide not to ask!!!! Or when I do I get told " ooo you don't want to be worrying about that!"

Having said that though she is seeing me evey week - but then she says that it is because she wants to keep an eye on my BP......

We do have an open invite to any clinic though... you may end up waiting but you can get an appointment every week.... if your surgery has the same policy I would just turn up!

Thats awful Vicki I cant believe she didnt even bother to let you know if baby was engaged..she ought to be giving you more time then anything now your right at the end!!

Mine the same! I have only seen her a total of 3 times and i'm in and out in 5 minutes. I've not got to see her for over 3 weeks now and if haven't seen her since i was 28 weeks. Makes you wonder why they are always so busy?

i agree that its really bad that they have no time mine was ok but was never in there for more than 5 minutes. i always found that doing my own research answered my questions as long as you use reputable sources at least that way you get an overall picture not just what your midwife thinks or whats that hospitals policy? for example induction for being over due

Exactly, i get more information and stuff from this forum than i do my bloody midwife, thank god for this forum is all i can say!

Got a call earlier on from her, she is gonna come out on Friday and give me my other injection (4 weeks late) and do my birthplan, although i've already done it, so it'll be more to go over it i suppose
