Fixing pains ??????

Well after having very little movement from LO and freaking over that I have just had a sharp pain in my right side lower abdomen like a stitch for about half an hour! I called the birth centre to speak to a midwife who didn't seem overly concerned and told me to sit down for a couple of hours to relax and call back later if the pain gets worse or turns into contractions! she said it's probably just fixing pains! Although they sound self explanatory I have never heard of them before. Has any one else ?????
Any advice would be great! X

Not sure what fixing pains are! But does sound like it could be round ligament pain, where all the muscles and ligaments are stretched from the growing uterus. The should ease of with rest though, hope ur feeling better soon xx
