First time mummys

I know we have had a thread on pregnant bellies already but i would like to know from the people who are pregnant for the first time when you noticed your belly changing/getting a bit bump like, or maybe if you remember your belly this early the first time around.

I ask because i think my belly looks a bit bigger to me already, more so in certain clothes, but as far as i am aware it is to early to be getting a bump yet unless i have already had children.

ive been showing for ages now, ive normally got quite a flat stomach but its been alot rounder in the past month and got a proper little bump now which feel like it getting bigger by the second

Hiya, I was forever showing my "bump" of at the beginning.....people said could nt not see it.. It was not till near the end i realsied what a "bump" really was.

I'm overweight so its difficult but DH says my tummy looks a tiny bit bigger.

mine came overnight at 13 1/2 weeks but was puking from 7 weeks and losing weight

I noticed my clothes getting tighter around 10 weeks. Couldn't fit into my favourite jeans comfortably at 11 1/2 weeks!

this is my first time, and ppl hav been telling me i'm showing since 8 or 9 weeks- but i'm skinny with a pot-belly, and i think its because ive stopped bothering to breathe in now i got an excuse! sorry thats not really helpful!

hi everyone,

I have just been reading the thread re pregnancy bumps and am now really worried. I am 13.5wks and don't have the slightest hint of a 'bump' I am still fitting comfortably into all my clothes - and have only put on 1lb in weight which is prop down to eating too much cake .

I'm worried - did anyone else not show for ages??

dolly if you got to tri 2 there are lots of people in there that didn't show for ages...we all change at different speeds

Hi Dolly,

I'm 13 weeks tomorrow and I still have no bump either!! I am desperate for one to show off! I'm usually quite flat on the tummy area so thought it would be noticeable by now but just trying to be patient. I posted a few weeks ago asking when my bump would come and everyone reassured me we are all different.

I think we should post back in a few months when we are desperate not to have such a big bump!!

Definitely got the start of a bump, although I do have an excuse to have a bump at 8 weeks!

I normally have a totally flat stomach so this feels like it is sticking out a mile, although no-one has really noticed yet. I guess they just think I am eating too many pies at the mo!

I am convinced I have a bit of a bump - but think I am just a bit bloated (am only 5 weeks after all)

My OH treated me to some new jeans for Christmas (I chose them but have to wait till Christmas to get them) - I am worried I won't get to wear them for nine months!
