First scan at 8:30AM!! :D

I have my first scan at 8:30 this morning! Am so excited to see and hear my little bumpy for the first time! Especially as I've been scaring myself stupid, convincing myself that the period type cramps I've had the past few days mean something bad is happening I've been running to the toilet so often to make sure I'm not bleeding! Thankfully they seem to have died down now, so fingers crossed everything goes ok at the scan!
What should I wear for the scan? Is it best to wear something loose that can be pulled up and rolled down? Was thinking leggings and a shirt, so I'm comfy. Not looking forward to the early start, but at least it means less time waddling around with a full bladder!!

I wore jogging bottoms for mine also I wore maturnity clothes towards the end I had growth scans. As long as your not too bother if they get gel on them wear them hunny x

Loving the fact your scan is early less waiting on your half. As for pains hun, probably growing pains x

Had the worst nights sleep! Was so tired, but couldnt sleep for excitement and worry!! Am sooooo bursting for a wee, which I guess shows my bladder is full, but I know if I wee now, I wont be able to drink enough to fill it up again haha. Never been so important not to wee, which obviously means going for a wee is the only thing i can think about!!!!

You could pee now and take a bottle of water with you I did, was brusting for a pee when had scan as they were busy and wasn't seen on time x

It was the most amazing experience Bumpy was sound asleep, so she gave my bump a bit of a poke, and apparently baby is just like mummy and hates being woken up! Started kicking its little legs Got some lovely scan pictures (wish I'd known beforehand that we had to pay for them!!) As soon as I learn how to transfer pictures from my phone to my laptop I'll upload them
Turns out I was only 2 days off how far gone I am, and I'm now 11+2 Due on the 31st of May

On the downside, I had a panic attack when they tried to take my bloods, so I have to go back again on tuesday Am already scared :'(
