CONGRATULATIONS!

I haven't really got any (good) advice on how to tell your family...........I just wanted to congratulate you (excited Rach too :D )
I'm new to all of this myself too!

I found out 13 weeks ago today when I thought I was 6 weeks pregnant but I was actually only 4.
I told all my family pretty much straight away, mainly because I'm a huge football fan and the world cup was just about to start and suddenly I didn't smoke or drink anymore. Doesn't take a genius to work it out!!
Anyhoo, I just kind of blurted it all out, everyone was really chuffed for my OH and I. (Although it was really hard telling my older brother and his partner as they have been TTC for 2 years).

Hi Tracey 2

Welcome & CONGRATS on your pregnancy, wishing you a healthy & happy one  xx

Hi, congrats on our pg.

I told my mum last week, just blurted it out. Its my first pg too, we're not married but been together for 3 1/2 years, relationship is rock solid. My mom was surprised - we weren't TTC just a happy accident, we wanted to marry first, then kids in year or two - we run our own business too so thats always a worry for our parents.

Told MIL on Friday, was expecting her to flip her lid, but she is soooooo excited i can't find the words to describe it.

Just follow your heart - i told my best pal quietly on her own, before anyother close friends, as she has been TTC with her Dh for 4 years, so i wanted to be as respectful as possible, gave her a day or too to soak it up before telling other close friends.

Again, we have told people early, but with my birthday (& not drinking) and my friend leaving UK for 18 months, and us going away for weekend (& again no drinking) it was a bit obvious.

I have intruded Shelley's post (I'm 26 and daren't tell my parents) as we were going through the same thing at the same time - feel free to have a read and share our experience.

Good luck - keep us updated with your progress
