First midwife appointment, went better then I expected. Yay [emoji4]

So, I had my first midwife appointment today. It went really well. She did some blood work, and asked a ton of questions. She was really sweet and that really helped calm my nerves as I was seriously worried. I was a little shy though when she wanted to do an examination down there. However very relieved to know that everything is okay. She scheduled me to come back in 5 weeks for my first scan. I told her my plans to want to have my baby naturally and she even suggested trying a natural water birth given everything goes well throughout my pregnancy. She confirmed my due date as the 29th of September so I'm very excited about that. Anyways, I just wanted to give an update. I'm so excited

I pretty much had a natural water birth with baby number 1, would highly recommend it! Will be hoping for this again this time around Xx

I've heard some say it's less painful doing a water birth. That would be nice if that's true. Lol.

I definitely felt like it did...I'll never forget the relief I felt getting into the water. I was a different person from the one in the bed! So much calmer...but I guess different ways work for different people Xx

Yeah, I am beginning to seriously consider water birth. I've been looking into it more since my mw mentioned it and everything I have read about water births has been really positive. I just want to have more then one option available to me though. Either the bed or water. You know?
