what to expect??
its my booking in so i guess its my maternity notes and bloods and wee sample? weight height ??
and is anyone else getting a rather large bump at 11 weeks yet??

I didn't get any bloods taken at my booking appointment it was just notes and family history etc, and weight, height, urine protein test and blood pressure. Think I get my bloodwork done when I go for the scan next week. I wish I'd had the bloods earlier because then my results would be back by now instead of having to wait another 2 weeks after the scan before I know if there are any problems. I think it's different all over the country.

Hi linxminx21, I've got quite a bump as well at 11 weeks even though it's my first pregnancy and lots of people have told me that I will not show till 4-5 months... But somehow I just knew that I will start showing earlier...It's just how my body works.))

well i look about 5 months pregnant lol but it is my second pregnancy and i wasnt skinny anyway lol i was a size 12-14 but none of my clothes fit me now

its gone quite quick tbh, i had a bit of sickness but thats eased off a bit i cant keep anything proper down everything i eat comes straight theough me 10 mins later and when i eat anything tomato based the pain in my stomach is unreal and i get all hot and sweaty lol
its a strange baby
the only food i can eat and feel relitavely normal with is cereal and fruit!!!!

i havent got it untill tomorrow
yeah thats what i thought... i asked the rather SNOTTY receptionist at my doctors and she assured me its how they do it now... ppfffttt thanx for the reassurance !!!!
i had an early scan at 7 weeks and 2 days and everything was fine there. and iv got 12 week one on wednesday, but am getting booked in tomorrow!!

Hi good luck for today - I've got my first appoinment too, no idea what to expect as first baby. My dates put me at 10 weeks but early scan knocked about 10 days off that so we'll see...
My belly is looking pretty big too i'm going to see about getting a bigger uniform today as doing up my trousers is getting impossible

Hey, had my first midwife appointment yesterday.
Took my bloods there and then, went thru my paperwork, checked my urine sample. Asked me my weight and height and booked me in for my 16 week appointment
