Just want to keep you up to date on my progress and hope this may help others aswell!
Had first visit to GP this morning, I have been having a pink show only when I go to the loo but not every time, no pain or cramps etc was due to see GP friday but was worried overnight and decided to demand an appointment this morning.
She took my blood pressure, it was little high but she put that down to being worried,
She checked my dates am 5 and half weeks pregnant,
She give me an internal very gently to see as she explained that my uterus was closed or open,
She explained that if the uterus was open it was possable that it was a mc, if closed all is well,
To my relief it was closed and as she told me the signs are all good,
she also told me that nearly one in ten pregnant women bleed in some way,
The out come is I seem to be fine, she told me to take it easy and just because of my age (41)
am to take it easy over the next few days,
she has arranged a 6week early scan on Tuesday morning for me in the early baby unit,
They will not do any type of scan before 6weeks, as they feel anything before this will not give atrue image of whats going on, so the up shot is I am feeling less worried now.
And would advice anyone with any concerns to get to there GP.
Have to say mine is lovely and that helps a great deal.
So roll on Tuesday my Hubby has been besides himself aswell love him - we sometimes forget it affects them just as much as us!
going to give him extras hugs tonite!
