hey i will be joining youi all as of the 28th jan when frankie turns one too!

Yeah Kaidens one on the 19th had to book his party for the 21st though, what a quick year xkelx

No party here, just a cake and some sweeties for her cousins, who are coming over.

I don't do parties, I have enough contact with small children at work! :rotfl:

Sue

LOL sue, im not an other peoples baby person, and theres 10 of them invited, luckily ive booked a session at RUNAMOCK in glasgow. Its only £7.50 a head and theres no juice stains and crumbs on my carpets  xkelx

 :D
I think that our version of RUNAMOK is called Jumping Jacks. It's usually attached to a bowling alley/amusements place and I really couldn't let my little one in there to all those climbing frames etc I'd have a heart attack.
I don't think they'd let her in at under three anyway!

Hope your lil fella has a great time!

NAOMI IS ONE!!!!

Sue

LOL Sue, no he wont be climbing the older kids we have invited will but its all made of soft play material, and the adults can take the smaller ones in, in RUNAMOCK they have a babies soft play area with a ball swamp, and a wee seperate room for your party, where they do a baby buffet and you can have yer cake and takes pics in there, we booked the jungle book room. just have to sort out the party bags for under 3s that will be a hard one XkelX

awwww sue she's lovely!

zoë will be one on the 22nd feb. i can't believe it!!
anyway her nanny has suggested we do a party at hers so as not to destroy my place! (lucky us :D )..... about 20 toddlers have been invited so i didn't think i could handle it at mine lol

talking about that, any good ideas on the present front?? we'll be travelling lots so i can't get something too big. it took me so long finding her xmas pressie i'm now totally out of ideas :?

can you remember a year ago when you were in labour or when you held them for the 1st time? they've changed so much since then but i never want to forget what it was like a year ago. i didn't even know what she looked like then and that seems impossible now

pip x

yeah Pip, aqua draws are great i bought one for Kaiden, i made a similar post in the off topic sectoin, theres some good ideas in there, we also got kaiden a new rideon as his 1st ride on was too small, a pussycat dolls dvd and some other toys. His unce couldnt see him at xmas and brought his gift over the other day a set of drums, he loves them, i thought kaiden would have been too young as well, his birthday is on Friday, although his party is on sunday xkelx

aww 1 years old yey :cheer:

Ps: all the soft play areas i have ever been to have baby areas too ;)

Hey guys!

Pips - thanks. I don't actually remember the labour part because I never laboured! I feel like I cheated! Naomi was born by section almost a month early. She was teeny - only five and a half pounds and was too weak to latch on - hence the ng tube in the pic.

What's an aquadraw?

Soft play areas eh? Must try those...

Sue

we have bought taylor a trike and an inflatable ball pool for his birthday. both are great and practical for the summer in the garden. and i can have the ball pool in our back room in winter. (the ball pool doubles up as a paddling ppol too)

ohhh cant wait 4 days and my babys 1
