Hi Guys, trying to arrange a first aid course for my husband and myself before our due date of 15th April and struggling to find one local to Lincoln. Anyone have any recommendations as so far st Johns ambulance and british red cross are not available in that time frame...where do people recommend? Figured it would be wise to get under our belts before our baby girl arrives but feels like we've run out of time!

Enquire at your local children's centre. Ours offers them fairly often - and they're free!

WSS, that's where we had ours. We didn't have it until LO was about four months though when we started weaning.

If you can't get anything before you have LO, there are videos on YouTube that are quite useful and worth a watch.

I'm in Lincoln  I did a first aid course at North Hykeham children's centre when my daughter was about 4 months old. They won't necessarily have one in the right timeframe but there are quite a few children's centres around Lincoln (Birchwood, Waddington, Lincoln and Bracebridge that I can think of!) so worth checking all of them.

I'd be really interested to know if you do find one in Lincoln as I am local too and have been looking with no luck.

Hi gilly, google abc training they do a 2 day paediatric first aid that covers all basic adult first aid plus for babies n children. Excellent instructor good mix practical/theory n u get reference material to take away so u dont have to write everything down like bein bak at school. Wud highly recommend it if u can afford it.

Hi. I'm in Lincoln and we're attending one at the pride of Lincoln on the 13th april. If you want the info let me know and I'll pm you x

Thanks for the replies. Sorry for the delayed response!
I will have a look at ABC, thanks Kitten.
Thank you for the kind offer Jen, but we'll be on holiday on the 13th. Xx
