Well we have just had a phonecall and he is booked in for his operation for the 31st March so we will be going up there on the 30th and shoul be back by the 2nd April all being well 
im really happy as i wont be too pregnant il be about 22 weeks and i should know by then if baby has the same as him or more so i should be able to get some advice while im there

Thomas still hasnt recieved his operation date or any time frame yet, We rang the cleft center 3 weeks ago and was told he needs to have his hearing test to see if he needs gromits or not because if he needs them then he wont be having his operation untill May
Well his hearing test wasnt untill the end of Feb so we rebooked it for today.
Sadly it dint got well he has bad glue ear in both ears and his reactions are very slow but it is just glue ear rather then deafness which im pleased about.
But now we are in limbo because the hearing lady said they wont give him gromits yet as hes too young but we dont think they will operatate on him with glue ear (i cant remember what the reasons are i think its something to do with the results of the operation not showing if they have glue ear at the time)
We can home and rang the cleft center they are goin to ring us back Monday with a desion on weather they will operate or not aparently they were only talking about him last week about how urjent this operation is for him with me being pregnant again.
Im hoping they will do it within the next month rather then wait for his next hearing test in may as then we will be looking at June/July and i will be heavily pregnant and so i wont be able to be there
Or we wait till after ive had the baby in which case id have to leave a newborn with some-one which isnt really ideal.
The hospital is about an hours drive from our house so i cant even go there in the day and come back at night as i dont drive and i cant see anyone picking me up and dropping me off everyday
I have got everything crossed they will do it sooner rather then later now, Please cross your fingers for him aswell.
