Hello Girls!
I went for my 38 week check-up today and everything is great!

I've spent much of the last 8 weeks in total confusion, as I've been told that I would be okay to deliver naturally, I wouldn't be okay to deliver naturally, I wouldn't be allowed to go full term, I couldn't be given prostaglandin gel, etc etc etc.

So today I saw the professor, who said, "Let's get you back on Monday to do some tests and book a date for your section"

Finally! Someone has made a decision! So it looks like my LO will be born by elective c-section in the week beginning 15th October!!!

Yay! I can't wait to meet my baby!

:cheer: :cheer: thats good news.

Only 10 days until you'll be holding your LO- how exciting !!!

Good news. You will be so relieved you actually know what is going to happen now.

10 Days and counting. Are you nervous. xxx

Thanks Girls!

Couldn't sleep last night thinking about it!

Think I've now had my "Wake up call" and I now realise what is actually happening! Scary!!

Also got the problem of my ex. He moved from Scotland to Basingstoke a few weeks ago. We're still in touch and he'll now be back up here for the birth.

Problem is, I think he has it in his head that he'll be at the birth. I've never even mentioned to him that I want him there. I'm going to have my mum with me as she's been the one that has really supported me through this pregnancy. I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen him in the past 4 months.

Looks like I'm going to be the "baddy" again for not letting him witness the birth of his child, but I just wouldn't feel right having him there!

xxx
