Finally I am getting legit PCOS labwork done

I'm sorry I just am over the moon right now. I havent had a period in 2 months. I'm looking for a new gyn but in the meantime, my regular dr has sent over PCOS lab work for me to get done.

Being my own advocate is intimidating for sure and I feel bad sometimes but you ladies helped me realize (and my husband too of course) I need to speak up for myself. The "wait it out" for periods (since October mind you) has just not worked for me.

If I don't have PCOS (not saying I want it but still an answer would be nice lol)....at least I know. Okay sorry just venting!

It's good to take control of your own fertility. I hate that the doctors always make you wait and wait and wait, as if something is magically going to happen! I hope you get some answers soon hun!x

Well I have labs this week along with seeing a new GYN. Its midnight here and I had to go to the ER the pain was horrendous...found out my cyst finally ruptured. Gosh it hurts but I knew something was off. Still no period since March but hoping for a good week ahead.

Thank you I feel terrible but the pain is a little better. No surgery needed that I know of. My GYN is rescheduled til Tuesday not that I am complaining as I feel terrible anyways...and my regular dr sees me tomorrow (she ordered my labs...some of them are in and I posted about them).

Still no period, cycle day 77 and I hope it comes soon. Thanks ladies this has sucked but I dont wanna give up

My longest cycle was 67 days and that was a killer! I can’t even imagine how frustrated you must be. Hope the drs goes well tomorrow x

Got my AF today, dont have PCOS so just a freak long cycle I guess? I think the cyst was messing with it but thats gone so I'm moving on to the next...hopefully shorter lol cycle!
