oran has this past say maybe 2 weeks started being REALLY fidgety in the morning, when he comes in to our bed. At about 7am oran wakes and wont go back to sleep in him cot but if he came in to bed he would eaither go to sleep on me or in the bed for another hour to hour and half no problems but latley although I know he is still sleepy (as soon as I get him out the cot and in to bed his eyes start to roll and he goes back off but then while his eyes are closed he is flinging his arms and legs around something chronic - he hits me and daddy and hurts he does it so forcfully but his eyes are closed the whole time like he is semi sleeping. any ideas why he has started doing this?

Sorry,don't have any ideas,maybe just active dreaming?
very funny.I dont think he is in such a deep sleep to be dreaming as if you move him a touch or move your self he open his eyes a bit to see whats going on then closes them again
