Fibroid and ovarian cyst

Hi ladies

Had my first scan today and all was good with baby, however the sonographer noticed that I've got an ovarian cyst and fibroid. She didn't seem to think it was anything to be concerned about and said they would just monitor size at my next scan but just wondering if anyone had any experience of this??

Hey, I have an ovarian fibroma which is 6cm on my right ovary. I had to have a scan at 6 weeks to check it wasn't growing as pregnancy hormones can make it grow. Luckily it's fine and will be having it removed once baby is here.

Did they say how big it was? Will they be referring you to a consultant? X

I have two fibroids. I was scanned more often to check they weren't obstructing baby's growth and to ensure they weren't growing over the baby's exit.

Thanks ladies. I'm already under a consultant who I will be seeing at the end of the month. Guessing they will just keep an eye on things like you say. I think the fibroid is 4x4cm and the cyst is 2x2 so not massive really but it still freaked me out a bit
