FF and Solids

Hi my little man is 7 months this Wednesday he takes 3 puree/mashed meals a day roughly 3 stage 1 Jar amounts (we feed home made as well) he has around 21-24 ounces of milk a day

Is this enough milk? I offer him 4 bottles of 7oz so he is offered more than he takes, he also has water with a meal occasionally, he is starting to drop even more now some days only taking 20oz even though offered more, his weight gain is perfect according to HV so I guess its good

How much milk vs solids do your LO's take? and what age are they?

he cut down his milk himself to 26 oz which is why I offered more solids as he was hungry but refusing milk but happily ate the solids.

That sounds fine Hun, at his age he should be having between 18-21oz's a day.

18-21oz oh that's ok then, I was told by someone he should be having 25-32 oz with food Thankyou felt like I was failing and he wasn't getting what he should have

Yes as laceys mummy said it's 18-21oz so he is having plenty. X

Shaun has about 18oz of milk a day, but he has about 5oz of baby milk mixed into food during the day too. Sometimes on a hungry day he will have 20-24oz of milk (in a bottle) though.

deffo enough hun! my lo has only 2 bottles a day and milk in his food. hv said this was perfectly fine! it seemed so wierd to me at first cos its such a huge drop to what he was on before but i also got great reassurance from the pf ladies! =)
