Hi, I put my bbt into ff this morning and a message came up saying as I've put in more data it has now changed my ovulation date. Originally it had Friday down as my ic date, it has now changed it to Saturday. I don't understand how though, my lowest temp was Friday. Do you think ff is correct? X

I'm trying to add a picture of my bbt chart but I have bad signal, I'll keep trying.

From what I've read, ovulation day isn't necessarily the lowest temp. Some people don't even have a dip om ovulation day, its the rise their looking for not the dip if that makes sense. Although saying that it could be your ovulation day, from what I can make of your chart its adjusted it because you have two previous temps that are above or on the coverline your temp didn't rise high untill two days after the dip meaning ovulation date is likely the day before the big rise which would be correct. Hope this makes sense xxx

Also forgot to ad that on cycles where I have ovulated, ovulation happens the day after the dip, so the same day as my temp starts to rise. Just like your chart shows.

I do not find FF very accurate. This month Ovia said I ovulated on CD10 and FF said it was CD18!! For some women, ovulation happens the day of the dip, for some just before and some just after.

You can log temps and it charts but it doesn't do crosshairs. It does a summary where it tells u what day u ovulated. It def wasn't cd18 as FF said as I got AF on cd25 and I always have a decent length luteal phase plus I had clear luteal phase symptoms by cd12. I don't trust FF. If u dtd every other day though you'll be fine.

FF changed my ov date and cross hairs 3 times one month! Funnily that was the month I caught on and I was in bits thinking we'd missed our chance! Xx
