Can i ask your advice Ladies? I am using clear blue opk's and charting temps. I haven't yet had a smiley face on my opk testing but according to Ovia today is my most fertile day based on my data inputted.
Which would you go by as your most fertile day? Trouble is today and tomorrow are out for dtd. We did do it yesterday and plan to again Thursday. What do u think?
Thanks xx

I also use cheapie opks in the afternoon as last month cb missed my surge as it happened late pm and had gone by next day! I would go by cm...its its ewcm or water stretchy cm then you are very fertile. If you cant dtd tonight or tom, dtd thursday and fingers crossed youve done enough x

Thanks Melly. I have been doing opk's in the afternoon too but nothing as yet. I know with the cb opk's they say not to read anything into the test stick when u take it out but my line is still really faint on there?? My cm is egg white today. Yesterday my bbt was 98.05 and today it was 97.77. I'm a bit out of practise with the bbt charting as gave it up for a bit. Any advice on this hugely appreciated x

I dont temp as im rubbish at it! The slightest movement can cause a change so unless you do it religiously then i wouldnt worry about the dip in temp. Usually dip means youve ovulated but if youve had ewcm today then you will be in your fertile window (esp if it stretchy) and lh surge could happen over next few days...some women get a few days of ewcm before a peak opk. You might just be ovulating a bit later this month. I would dtd as often as you are able to...doing it thursday might be spot on as you are likely to get surge in the next few days.

Just one thought....ive sometimes got ewcm comfused for sperm...if you dtd last night could it be sperm? If not as clear cm then you should defo be a fertile mytle!

Ooh fingers crossed it'll be Thursday. Thanks for the help x

Hi Fastnet! I use Ovia as well and this was my first month using cheapie OPKs too. In then end I got a positive OPK 5 days before what Ovia said was my most fertile day. Maybe I was less stressed this cycle!

I think if you use Ovia as a guideline but back it up with your Clear Blue OPKs you'll be able to work out your more fertile day(s) more accurately. Good luck!

I find Ovia is a little eager when it comes to my fertile period and usually has it before I get a pos on the CB opk. Are you using the CB advanced onces? Every other day is supposed to be fine anyway. You can always do every other day til you get a positive and then ramp it up if you want. x

Still no smiley. I'm bleeding today not huge amount but noticeable. I have drs appt next week. In a nutshell this has been my cycle:
Af- 17th October
Stopped bleeding CD 4. Dry as a bone CD5-CD9
Bleeding CD 10 (26th oct) Heavy so classed as another period which lasted until 30th October.
Ovia classed the bleeding on 26th oct as CD1 again so I should now be CD 12 going by that.
Then there's the bleeding today????. What really grips me is that me and OH stopped actively ttc because I became obsessed. Never experienced anything like this in my cycles tho they were pretty run of the mill. The first month where we decided to ramp things up again and it's all turned to rat ####.
So tearful today.
Sorry for long post.
Xxx

Oh honey don't want to read and run even though don't feel like have expertise to advice anything. All i would say is that my cycles differ so much from time to time and when my father was not well last year, they were literally all over the place and then 2 months no period at all , which shows how much stress affects this.lots of hugs honey, all will be ok, you will see.

With all this odd bleeding I'd go and see a doctor. I had lots of mid cycle bleeding and it turned out to be a cyst and hormonal imbalance. I'd say any odd bleeding patterns are worth getting checked out just in case. xx

Thank you Hopeful and Sunflower. I Did visit the doctors following the first inbetween bleed in September. It was a male doctor and I thought he was very unhelpful. He said it could be a number of things including stress, or possible early miscarriage but that id just havevto see what comes it as never had it before. I have an appt with a lovely doctor next week so hopefully will get to the bottom of it.
Needless to say I'm consoling myself tonight with a huge box of quality streets, wine and a box set!
I think your right though Sunflower. I've been feeling really hormonal of late, more so than ever before. I hope something may be identified from the bloods I've done today.
Hugs x

If you are in the UK you can push for a specialist hospital referral to have a scan if it continues.

Sounds like a good night tonight!
