Does anyone have any experience with this? I've read it can help with milk supply for breast feeding, stop breast pain, reduce labour time, etc

Has anyone taken it and when from or even if just to help with breast feeding? x

I took it when I was exclusively expressing to try & up supply. Didn't notice a huge difference, and it smelt absolutely horrible! People will tell you it smells like maple syrup, it doesn't, it stinks of curry! I gave up on it as I didn't want to smell like curry all the time & hated taking the tablets x

I used it until I found out that breastfeeding support groups (laleche league etc) don't recommend it as it can cause cramps in the feeding baby.

I used it to up supply last time and it did work but smelt horrible and gave me heartburn. I already had a baby with terrible reflux but I didn't notice it making her worse. Doc gave me domperidone instead but that's now not recommended due to cardiac problems.
Eating oats helps too!

I had domperidone too. I can't believe how much things change. It was less than a year ago that I was prescribed it!
