Hey all!! Hope your having great pregnancies and I wish you all look in your labours :) I'm new to the third trimester, so I think... or am I a little early? lol I'm 26 weeks. :S Anyway, bit personal... but did any of you ladies suffer from diarroeha during this period? I've had it quite bad all of a sudden this evening, when the last few days my bowel movements have been fine (bit tmi sorry. lol) but it says on leaflets to stop diarroeha that you have to consult your doctor before taking the medication? I've tried having a rennie tablet and drinking plenty of water, but it doesn't seem to help. Didn't think the Rennie would, but I thought I'd give it a try. Ob my doctor is not in the surgery atm to speak to him, so I don't know what to do :S I feel like my gut is going to drop out... anybody else experienced this around this time? I'm not really having any belly ache or feeling sick with it so can't understand what it is?? Help please lol thanks x

I have had diarrhea and sickness a good few week ago, had it a few times in the past weeks! I put it down to something i ate. I mentioned it to my midwife and she wrote it on my notes. I wouldn't take any medication unless the midwife said it was fine. Is there noone you can ring atall? Sorry i haven't been much help. I hope you feel better soon. xxx

make sure you are eating loads of healthy things. I think bananas help with it but not very sure.

Okay thanks girls, on some websites it said you can take immodum but I wasn't too sure and it been late I couldn't phone the GP so I took one and drank plenty of water... I seem fine today not so bad... but still feeling yucky... argh back to been a zombie lol x

I've had diarrhea loads its horrible! I had to give a stool sample to my doctor last week but the tests came back clear thankfully, as I had a UTI at the same time I didn't know what the hell was going on with my bodily functions! I'm just putting it down to hormonal changes and having to put up with it. Might be best to get it checked out though? x
