Feeling low- when will AF come!!!!!!!!!!

I am feeling crap tonight- up and down generally but crap tonight

I really want my AF to come- it's been almost a month.

DH thinks we shouldn't wait any longer to start trying. I usually have very long cycles anyway, and our Dr said just to wait 2 weeks to allow uterus to heal. And that the only reason to wait for 1 Af is for dating.

I did want to wait one AF but it's been a month now and no sign on AF so maybe I'll start trying since uterus should have healed. I don't know?????

I feel depressed. I want a bub so bad!

Ive just had my AF after m/c - I got mine just before my fifth week - so it might come for you this week

hun it can take a few weeks for 1st af to arrive i know its hard waiting if you feel ready to try again now then carry on hun only you know if your ready or not xxxxx

Aww feel so bad for you, its been nearly 3 weeks since my misscarraige but only 2 since my D & C ) Im a desprate to start trying too, but I am telling myself wait untill my first period and make sure everything is ok and then start, I think if you wait till your first period, it would be better.... hopefully it should come in the next couple of days ! I will keep my fingers crossed for you....


I hope mine come soon! prob be a few more weeks, and then we are going to start trying again! and fingers crossed, it doesnt take long, I just want to be pregnant again, I feel like there is something missing, and im not quite me again until im pregnant again, does that make any sense??

I jsut have really long cycles, so not sure I have even ovulated yet- I have been charting adn doing some predictor thingie's and nothing yet

So could be a few more weeks till AF! I hope not

Did you get any results from your D&C???

No got no results from D & C , but my GP did say that she was pretty sure it was my flu that caused it?? but not 100%.... I had a scan at 7 + 3 and there was a great wee heartbeat so I stopped worrying ! little did I know what was going to happen..

No I rang up today adn the only thing they could tell me was that it wasn't a molar pregnancy and my iron levels were fine. That's all they did.

Wow the flu- i haven't head that before. I had so many colds and Dr said it's very well protected. Was it a serious flu- body aches and all?

Yeh was a really bad flu, body aches, high temp and just felt terrible for at least a week..

If you google flu and pregnancy, it says stuff like high temp is bad in first tri etc...

It could have been something else, but its more than likely that or so my GP says...

oh that's a shame.... it's not your fault though ... i guess we can't stay at home for a whole 9 months in an incubator!!!!

Still no AF, still no temp surge either so don't think I have eved Ov'd and it's a month since D & C

still got my fingers crossed for you, I was looking through loads of posts and I think 5 weeks seems to be the norm?? so maybe another week.... hope it comes sooner for you though..xx

When I had my m/c in December 2007 it took 6.5 weeks for AF to show up. She finally arrived on 10 February 2008. Just give it a few weeks and if the hag doesn't show up, go to your GP to see what you can get to stimulate AF's arrival. In the meantime

Could you be pregnant now?

Also when you had your MC did you have a d and c or did you have a natural miscarriage??

Either way maybe give yourself a definate "date" ie if AF has not arrived by that date then theres no reason to not start trying?? I doubt there would be any problems getting preggo straight after...

Hi there, no i don't think so... test say no and according to my chart and OPKs I have not ov'd yet

Just need to be patient, but hubby and i decided we are trying from now on (well just not being careful) since it's been over a month .... Dr said there's no medical reason to wait 1 cycle, it's just for dating. Other Drs seem to say wait 1 cycle for your uterus to heal, but my cycles are so long (45 days) that it's just not possible!!

So, am going to just start again and see what happens...

I know how awful the wait is to get your first AF out of the way. Mine was 7 weeks after a complete m/c (didn't have d&c). We didn't actively try but didn't take any precautions either, so I was POAS for about 3 weeks (convined I could see faint lines) until AF turned up. I wasn't charting so I don't know when I oved but I am guessing it was proably still about 2 weeks before AF.
Hopefully if you start trying it won't turn up at all!

Hey girls, just thought I would post my update...

It's been 6 weeks since my D&C and still no AF so hubby and I are jsut trying from now on.
I have done a few random OPKs in the 6 weeks, with nothing, until last night......... today it's gone back to -ve. Not sure if this means I may have Ov'd today, but I did get some pain in my left side and was wondering if that was Ov??? Can you get a but of pain the first time you Ov after a D&C. So hubby and I BD'd last night, but before that we hadn't since Tue night

I hope I haven't missed the boat as it's taking so long for me to Ov as you all know from above + my usual 40+ day cycles don't make it easy

Do you think I could have Ov'd today??? If so, how long do we have AFTER Ov to TTC?
