Hi,

Has anyone else felt like they are going to faint?
This morning I woke up felt fine and was cooking breakfast when all of a sudden I felt as though I was going to pass out, my head was spinning, my ears were ringing and sweat was dripping off me. Eventually I was sick and it made me feel better but now i'm just a little worried. Is this normal? I am 9 weeks pg almost 10.

That does happen to me, too. I think it's fairly normal...

I've had this, I suspect it was because I hadn't eaten enough as I seem to need regular snacks now or I fell nauseous and shaky.

Have you seen your MW? Mention it to her she may want to keep an eye on your blood pressure.

i get like that when im anxious, i just sit down take deep breathes and it passes

I've not got an appointment to see my midwife until the middle of October.
It just took me by surprise i've felt nauseous and a little dizzy before but that was horrible it felt a little bit like when you've had far too much to drink and you're gonna pass out (I can kinda remember what that feels like LOL)
It could have been that I had got too hot whilst cooking breakfast or was just hungry I don't know frightened me a little tho!!

I had this all through my pregnancy with Evie. Its horrible isnt it?

I had tobe referred to consultants and stuff becauseigot heart palpatatoins when i was about to faint, had to wear a heart monitor thing, lukily everything wasfine and it was just put down to me being pregnant.

Once when i was at our antenatal classes we were doing relaxation techniques and I still fainted inthe middle of that (luckily no-one noticed as we were on individual physiotherapy beds  )

Fortunately I haven't felt as bad as that, a little dizzy sometimes but that's it.

I do know that some women feel like they are gonna faint and some faint regularly during pregnancy. If it gets worse though I would phone your midwife before your appointment is due just in case it is to do with blood pressure or anything.

Hope you are feeling better soon

I'm also wondering if I'm am anaemic (sp?) because I am feeling really tired all the time . My OH thinks it's hilarious when he is talking to me one minute and the next i am fast asleep, usually by about 8pm on a night. And it's a struggle to stay awake that late!! I think I might get myself some iron tablets as well
