Anyone else feel like they could pass out?

Yesterday I did get to point where my vision went blurry and my hearing sounded blocked, I was lucky I was near my bed. Since then I have felt really weak and drained and also quite sicky. Really having to take things slow, I was even laying on the sofa at work earlier.

I am taking them as positive things.

I have had a small amount of brown spotting over the weekend, but am taking that to be from stretching as I have a few days of cramping. keeping with the PMA.

Oh and I have my scan tomorrow morning!

Your iron levels might be low or you might be dehydrated, trying drinking as much water as you can and try to take it easy :) I get this quite a lot and it's usually because I don't drink enough :/
Just take it easy is what I say and good luck for scan tomorrow :)

i think feeling faint is normal, wouldnt worry much about it or the spotting, but perhaps ur midwife or the hospital could take some blood and test u for iron? again a very common thing women lack iron during pregnancy, until then try and eat little and often to eep energy levels up, if u feel woozy perhaps try a banana which slowly releases what u need, have some crackers, and just for a quick sugar boost try some biccies or chocolate, i was strange durin my first pregnancy, was always woozy and kept chocolate in my bag, but yeah try fruit, cereals, choccy whichever gives u a boost if u feel urself goin funny again

Thanks hun. I actually took an iron tablet today incase it is that. I'd hope it isnt de-hydration the amount of water I drink. My loo trips have been crazy today! I am taking it very very easy.

I had a blood test about a month ago and when I went through the results with the Dr last week she said my iron was a little low, but as my blood count or something looked fine I shouldnt worry too much. I am taking the iron tabs again though.

I had a banana this morning and have been chomping on toast, crackers & ginger biscuits when I can stomach them. Not feeling chocolate which is strange for me.

Thanks for the advice :)

ah cool well u seem to be doin the right things, ometimes it takes a week or so for things to start kickin in so rest is probably a good idea too to restore energy levels, i couldnt do without chocolate first time lol i didnt really suffer from sickness but got nausiated sometimes and the chocolate helped with that aswell as for sugar boosts

Good luck for your scan tomorow Mrs B - soooo exciting for you

Re the dizzy, yeah I get this too, I have found it really is better if I eat something tiny every hour and that way suger levels are always happy. I take 4 sarnies for lunch, and have one at 1030am, 1130am, 12:30am and then 1:30pm seems to work .. hope you start feeling better soon X
