Had a rough couple of days but havent been able to put feeling off down to anything specific.

On Tuesday night at work (2-10pm) got really flushed and had to sit down with a cold drink til I felt better, had my urine dipped (I work in A&E) and advised to eat regular and up fluids as showing Ketones.
Yesterday felt just as bad and was suggested I rang the Pre-Birth Assessment Unit and they saw me straight away. They did my obs which were fine alhtough BP of 131/77 was a little high for me, had massive amount of Ketones again in my urine and recommended to have the GTT done but I explained that I am already booked in on monday and the midwife said that she thinks its highly possible that I have gestational diabetes.
Also seen by the Obs & Gynae Reg who did a swab as having large amount of discharge and thinks I have an infection around the cervix, cervix was closed :yay:which is great news and just make sure I drink loads....I have a 20oz bottle which I drain 3-4 times during an 8 hour shift so thought I was drinking more than enough, I normally HATE water but appear to be craving it with this pregnancy.

suggested I put my feet up for a couple of days, not back in work til Sunday on a 2-10pm so will see how I feel and have the GTT, antenatal and consultant appointment Monday morning so will see what happens there.

forgot to say, I had a trace done on the baby which took ages cos at first the Midwife was concerned that his heart rate was too high but he would not keep still. She had to stand back and watch and wait for him to settle before she could strap me to the machine...she was shocked at how much he moved about and seeing the movements all over my tummy lol.
I am measuring just over 29 weeks which I expected from the scan at 20 weeks cos he was measuring 3 weeks ahead with some areas such as his abdominal circumference and head.....
