I have been feeling my little boy kick but once every so often and usually he is a very active baby im just worried that the midwives might think im overreacting or wasting their time?
No Hun if you feel any reduced movement please get baby checked
If it feels like he isn't moving like he does normally then deff worth having it checked
Better to be safe
Hope all is ok x
Any change to ur babys pattern should be checked. Probably nothing wrong but uno u will feel better getting him checked. With little babies you can never be too careful x
Definitely ring - I experienced the same, and they told me to come straight into the hospital just for a reassurance check. As it turned out, baby then went nuts (61 movements in half an hour!!), but that's what they LIKE to see! As much of an idiot as I felt then, all the midwife staff assured me that that's exactly what they're there for and it's far better to check, and to do so with any concerns again without hesitation.
You know what's normal for you hun, so if baby's moving less than usual it's always worth checking And hopefully all will be absolutely fine! xx
Well the midwife said to drink water and get a bath and ring back if he still hasnt moved, well i did and he wouldnt stop kicking and hes still squirming and kicking now pheww! thank you everyone for replying to me its helped! Im just a born worrier especially with him being my first!
Aww we worry even with out second and third etc hun
Glad baby is wriggling away
If you have any other concerns with movement again please don't hesitate to contact your midwife that's what they are there for hun
Take care and all the best for the rest of your pregnacy x
