feeding trouble!!!

hope is taking alot of the hungrier babies milk, sometimes 9 oz and she is now the size of a 7 month old, i thought it was too soonb to start her on food but with her being so big i tried a teaspoon of baby rice and she liked it. what should i do, i know its early but she wants feeding every 2 1/2 to 3 hours??

How much des she weigh?

Harley went through the same thing at her age and it soon passed. just a growth spurt

at 8 weeks she weighed 13 lb 9 and she is nearly 11 weeks now

i dont feed her alot of baby rice, only a couple of baby spoons full, i just want whats best for her

is she more settled on it and her feeds becoming a bit better? Is she sicky when taking the milk or does she keep it all down?

she is a bit sicky at the mo coz she has got a cold but it has only been a couple of times and i dont really know whethrer she was more settled?? i feel so useless

little lady its way too early to start solids. you'll end up with a fat bubba! Even if she is a big baby her little tummy is not ready for solids.

Feeding every 2 hours is pretty good id say for Hopes age.

well i am feeding her 8oz bottles every 4 hours so is that good??

not sure if this will help but keeley's a little bit older and is on 7oz's every 4-5 hours have you asked your health vistor?

yeah i am just finding it hard coz she is crying alot at the mo i am trying my best

perhaps she is having a growth spurt. rachael has just had one and she was VERY unsettled and mardy. i find it really hard in those times coz its so frustrating when they cry even though you're feed feed feeding them
have u tried her with a dummy to sooth her a little? they do like to suckle things.

you're doing great littlelady. don't get down about it. take her for a walk if shes really getting you down. thats guranteed to sooth her.

dont know if this helps but Ellis has 6 ounces every 3 hrs.

i think the thing to remember is that every bubba is individual and there are no rules to how much milk they have etc. littlelady try to relax and im sure Hope will too. they sense when we're stressed im sure of it.
