Hi everyone
Weaning is going quite well at the moment, Olivia is trying lots of tastes and textures and eats quite a varied diet. She doesn't like alot of things I give her but I'll just keep trying her with them.
However, at the moment it seems to take forever to feed her! It could be 30 mins, 45 mins sometimes. I don't want to rush her but I think she loses interest and it's me perservering that's taking the time. I'm going to stop giving her food when she shows she's lost interest because the other problem I'm having is that she seems to have cut down on milk during the day but wants to make up for it at night. After 2am she wakes every 2 hours and I feel like I have a newborn again.
So, what time do you give solids and how long does it a sitting take? Do you still offer half the bottle/boob before and after the solids or was that just for the early days of weaning?
Sorry, I know this has been done a lot of times before, just hoping that seeing other people's "schedules/routines" will help me sort out a good habit with Olivia and hopefully get a better nights sleep.
Thanks
Lucy
