As some of u may or may not know I blog for the new asda mum and baby club and we have a post about how to improve shopping for pregnant new mums and feedback would be invaluable if u can help??

Below is the link just add ur comments.

My main grievance is non parents using the mother and baby spaces yet at 8 months pregnant I cant even use it!!

That bugs me too! I'll drive into asda car park and find builder vans parked in parent and baby parking or mums with teenagers! Not being funny but teenagers can walk!!
They should make trolleys easier to take stuff out of when heavily pregnant cos I could never reach things at the bottom of the trolley with my huge bump!! Lol

yeah good points, I think the main problem is people don't think I got trapped in my car parking space and really wished I could have used the mother and baby ones but I dont as soon as Alex arrives if I see it going on I am going to name and shame!!

i agree with the carparking spaces, me n hubby have allways shopped about 10pm cos its empty and we like to look at the woops stuff, heeheehee and every time we go there are never any parent spots available, i see no kids in asda, but no car parking spaces, its not too bad at the mo cos its normally quite quiet in the carpark when we go, but when babys here we will be shopping at more normal times and i wana parent spot for flippin hecks sake, i am (or very soon to be) a mummy with a baby!!

xxx

what really bugged me the other day was i went to asda with LO and it was raining really heavily. I ran to the sheltered trolly station only to find that the trolleys with baby seats were on the back so I had to go out in the rain again to walk all the way round, when I got to the trolleys they werent under the shelter properly so the seat was drenched. I had to push the trolly with 1 hand (not easy) and carry the LO in the other (also not easy!) in the rain all the way around the trolly station and get into the store to ask a member of staff to find something to dry the seat with so I could put him down. We were both soaking by the time we got sorted. they just dont think sometimes

It annoys me when the small trolleys have not been collected from the trolley stations on the indoor and outdoor carparks so I have to walk halfway across the carpark just to get a small trolley. I find it hard to use a larger trolley at the moment as I can't bend down to get the shopping out when at the till.
Also, being the parent of a 4.5 year old, when are they going to STOP putting chocolate and sweets at the tills so I get pestered to death or he just tries to sneak something on the belt!!!

Lol I think this is why tesco give you a badge type thing which you fill in with 3 years after your baby was born on so once their 3 years old you can't use the spaces anymore.. I have no idea if asda do the badges? But I must admit when I was younger my boyfriend at the time had parked in them spaces I'm sure we all have at some point just to nip in for a few secs to grab something.....

It really bugs me that people that haven't even got kids use the spaces, especially annoying when it's tipping it down! My OH went into Asda to complain and they said they couldn't do anything, WTF?!?!
