I love when a child is born the Johnny Mathis version.
Was nearly in tears in town the other day, they were playing it in a shop.
Makes u stop and really think about the miracle of having a baby.

When a child is born was in the charts the Christmas after my brother died ('76). Even though I can't remember him (there was only 15 months between us and he died aged 6mths) I can't listen to it without crying - it's still me favourite carol though. Even though I cry, it's not sad tears - it's a lovely warm cosy song that makes me think he's warm and happy in Gods arms
