FAO anyone who is breastfeeding

Im not breastfeeding myself but my sister is and she wanted to share some wisdom she had with you all. dont know if anyone else has tried it but a good cream is Lanisinoh. My sis says she was in a great deal of pain and was bleeding and the baby was sicking up blood because of it, anyhows her midwife recommended thsi cream and it works a wonder she says its great!!! it is a little expensive at just over a tenner (luckily she lives with my dad so he can buy things if she needs them)but well worth the money and she hasnt had to use too much as its so good. hope this has helped someone

Lanisoh cream rocks - I wholeheartedly agree, it's magical stuff - I had cracked nipples which were SO painful - and they healed with the help of Lanisoh in no time.

It is expensive, but my m/ws had free sachets of it to give out too.

I had already bought in avent nipple cream before i started breastfeeding, and that's doing me ok but my dads girlfriend also recommended lansinoh so when it runs out il give that a try

I'm using Lansinoh at the moment too, it's great that you don't have to wash it off before each feed

I can reccomend Lansinoh to . My midwife got my doctor to prescribe me some so I got a tube for free, it may be worth ringing your G.P. to see if you can get it free too.
