I keep seeing on people status " hearts" but for the life of me i dunno how you do them?! can anyone help please

go to START- go programmes and accessories then character map- theres all different fonts and there are stars etc..you copy and paste them!! I have vista and its a bit different i just looked but if you have that then just type in character map on the search in the START menu!!
