Big apologies for gate crashing the first tri forum, but I just wondered if either of you were using the progesterone cream and if so, has it had any side-effects, where do you put it, is it worth me trying it if I think my progesterone levels are low - I think this cos of light periods and brown spotting before AF arrives.

You guys are the only ones I have heard mention it, so I didn't want to post in the ttc forum in case you missed it!

Also (Holly Hobby you have loads of knowledge so maybe you can answer this!) do you know what agnus castus (sp?) is used for? I'm getting desperate now and just want to get my cycle regular so I can start to properly ttc! I do know I have ewcm because I've noticed it twice now, so don't think I need any magic medicine - is there anything else I have missed to improve my chances? I have ordered a thermometer and am going to start charting! I'm also taking vitamin B, cos I have heard B6 helps boost progesterone levels too! Phew, what a mouthful - thanks in advance for any advice/info!!

Anyway, that's enough about me, I hope you are both doing well and enjoying being pregnant - I am soooo jealous of all the recent BFP's, but in a nice way as I know we all want the same thing in the end but some of us might just have to wait a bit longer than others - I'm sure it will happen for all of us in the ttc section eventually!

Take care huns!

Hi Kele,

I don't think the progesterone cream has any side effects. I did loads of research on the net and couldn't find anything negative. I've not experienced any side effects that I would put down the the progesterone (but then I only started taking it when I was pregnant so already had a load of symptoms from that!)

Angus cactus is suposed to help you regulate your cycles. I started taking it in September. I've got a 6 month supply here, I did post them in the irregular cycles thread in TTC but nobody asked me for them. If you would like them please PM me and I will post them to you. I'm not sure if they'll help you though, are your cycles irregular or is it just the spotting that is the problem? You're more than welcome to them if you think they'll help

Good luck x

Aw thanks for replying Ellie - that's great news to hear that you're not having any noticeable side effects from the progesterone cream - I think I'm going to get some. Do you have a link to the place/type you got?

And, my periods are a bit irregular and my ovulation is a bit up in the air too, so I hoped the angus castus would help with that. If you have some going spare, I'd love to take them off your hands - I'll pay for it of course.

Many thanks!!
Kelly

No need to pay, they're going spare. Just PM me your address.

I think the website for progesterone cream is www.progesterone.co.uk

The one I bought was £17.99

Thanks hun, that's really nice of you - I'll pm you my address!!
