Hello wise pregnant ladies :)
I’m only posting because I wondered if anyone else has had what I’m having at the moment. I’ve managed the whole 1st trimester without many symptoms and have been very lucky. But this week I’ve hit week 13 and I am a ZOMBIE. I’ve had to go to bed as soon as I get in from work at 5pm and last night was our works Xmas meal and I struggled to stay out until 10?!
Every book and website and forum says tiredness is worst up to week 12 then gets way better but I’m having the opposite experience :( :(
Anyone else felt the same way?
Xxx

Me! I am approaching week 12 and the tiredness hit me again... bad! I am in my bed by 8pm and still wake up tired. Nausea is creeping back also x

Me too!! I've been tired the whole time. nausea on and off, but this past week they've both hit me like a brick! x

Thank you both! I’m glad it’s not only me. My bloody pregnancy book keeps saying ‘enjoy the extra energy that week 13 will bring!’ HA yeah right I’m the most tired I’ve been so far!
Have you guys tried anything to give yourself a boost? I went to the gym yesterday and felt good during, but after was doubly tired with an added bonus headache 😩
Xx

Oh my god no, gym didn't even cross my mind lol! I just try and rest whenever I can (I work full time and have a 2 year old at home so it's not easy!). I am not sure you can do much. Guess it is a waiting game now x

Nope, gym is definitely not something I'd ever have time for so well done to you!!

I work full time and travel 40 mins both ways to work and back. By the time I get home I take a nap, wake up cook and clean and then sleep again till the morning to do it all again lol.

Well done KHTW for working full time with a little one too xx

I am currently around 8 weeks and OMG I just get so exhausted!
It started around the 4th week and seems to have stayed with me for now and I am developing dark circles under my eyes too :'( ... I feel like I am sleeping so much though!
I am taking a multi vit and eating lots of fruit and veg but I figure it is all just part of the journey (until I see the midwife and she may tell me otherwise!)
I am just trying to rest up when I can and am eating smaller meals too as this can whack me out!
I hope you feel more energy soon although our bodies are going through amazing changes so I think it is all relatively normal :)

xxx

Thanks Amy Louise, you’re right I guess it’s just something we have to get through in return for growing a human!! I think I’ve gotten away lightly in terms of symptoms so far so I shouldn’t complain.
Thank you all :) x

Same! I am not enjoying looking tired quite so much lol but feeling fortunate that tiredness seems to be my only current 'complaint' .. and with all he food over Christmas I think I need to take a nap for a week haha!

xx

I am 25 weeks and Still so tired.
I have managed the past month to stay awake alot longer then.it gets better in the 2nd trimester but it take a time x

Hi, I am about 5 weeks and I cannot believe how much the tiredness has hit me. It starts around lunch time and stays with me until I give in a go to bed. I don’t think it helps that’s I used to drink a hundred cups of tea a day! Oh and what a shock to the system no caffeine! X
