i'm gonna buy a breastpump so i can express, but i need 2 kno the basics- when is best 2 do it, how 2 store the milk, how long the milk lasts for, how 2 heat it up, etc?
i find it best to do in a morning... or if ive fed by bottle then using that feed to express..
you can keep it in a fridge for 24 hours or freezer for 3 months..
i store mine ready in the bottles
and warm it like a normal bottle in a bottle warmer for 2 mins...
When I was at work I always did it at the time Seren would normally feed. You can also express of the other whilst feeing too, though Seren used to push the pump away as she didn't like the noise.
