Expressing breast milk

IS HORRIBLE!!!

Breast pumps feel so weird and creepy! Luckily with Charlie I had so much milk that most of the time I could just hold a bottle in position and it would drip in (TMI). I really want to breastfeed again but it means I don't get to leave baby with grandparents or daddy until he/she is finished. I still thik it's worth it though. Having to get up through the night and go downstairs to prepare milk is too much effort for me lol

You could always manually express. I found it really easy once I got the knack and got a fair bit of milk out. Quicker than waiting for it to drip out if you don't like the pump.

While Temperance was in SCBU i found i could hand express more milk/colosterum(sp) than i could with the electric pump!!

I soon gave up with a pump and went onto expressing by hand!

Hand express! Feels a lot less wierd and is far more effective. YOu get to know your boobs better too!
