ok my boyf successfully fed millie some hand-expressed milk in a bottle. :cheer:

we wanna go watch that stardust film and i wanna get my highlights done so we gonna buy a pump and some storage bags in preparation.

i wanna kno:

-how much can u express each day? as much as u want or is there a limit if u dont wanna be sore and engorged?

-how do u heat up the milk how long does it take?

-how do u defrost it?

-how long will it stay safe at room temp / refrigerated etc.?

thanx in advance sorry for bombarding with questions!

I can't express that much cos as soon as I am full, it's feeding time so I don't get the chance to express any off. If I go out anywhere or for whatever reason give him a bottle of formula, I express off that feed when I get the chance.

I use it from the freezer or the fridge and put it straight into a bowl of hot water until it's defrosted and/or hot enough. I don't defrost any other way than just using it straight from the freezer/fridge.

The link above is good for storage info and times...

Hope that helps a little.. x
