Had a call from GP and turns out I have a UTI (it was news to me - no symptoms!) and they've prescribed a 3 day course of Macrobid (Nitrofurantoin, 100 mg).
Please does anyone have any experience with this medicine? I'm going to take it of course, but would like a heads up for any nasty side effects. I have a phobia of vomiting, you see, and the leaflet informed me that that side effect is rather common (I know, pregnant of all things and terrified of throwing up, lol). :frowning:
I hope I don't sound ridiculous for asking this. I do care for my health and wouldn't do anything to harm my baby, I just want to be prepared! Vomiting terrifies me so much, beyond my control and despite my best efforts, that I can get panic attacks and all sorts. It also doesn't help that I have sinusitis at the moment and feel nauseous and rubbish from that.
