Experiences of coming off Cerazette

So we're hoping to try for baby no.3 in the new year after an MC at 10 weeks in May. I went on cerazette for 2 months and stopped just over 3 weeks ago. During my 2nd month I had every pg symptom you could think of and got a few positive and negative pg tests. I ended up having a blood test which was negative. My last pill was just over 3 weeks ago and I've not had a withdrawal bleed yet. Anyone else have to wait this long?? I had some spotting Friday and today but that's it. We've not exactly been careful a test today was negative.

I stopped taking my pill in July and didn't have my first period/bleed until the middle of September!! Spent the whole time thinking I was pregnant!! I guess everyone is different, but I think it takes time for our bodies to adjust and get back into the natural rhythm! X

I was on cerazette for many years ,
I come off in sept 17 and was expecting it to take a while before my AF come, I did experience a withdrawel bleed (or I think I did) iit was pinky / browny and very light and only had it for about a day ( which can be easily mistaken for a implantion bleed)
I was lucky it came within about 19 days after I stopped .
I did experience bloating, constipation , feeling sick on and off within the first few weeks but it did subside.
How long did you have the blood test after you got a BFP ?
It can vary between women for how long it takes for AF to come once off it.
Just keep positive and if no sign after a few months and u are worried , seek advice from your GP.

Hi everyone I hope you don't mind me joining in your thread. I'm having the worst time at the minute coming off cerazette and I really don't know why! I stopped taking it in July, had a withdrawal bleed 3 days later and then nothing but pregnancy symptoms for the next 9 weeks! I finally came on after 63 days and had what I remember to be a normal period (I'd been on cerazette for 3 and a half years!) which lasted 5 days. AF turned up again on CD 34 But I thought wahoo AF is back to normal! How wrong was I?!? I'm now on CD 44 with no AF and 3 BFN 😩 I just don't know what's going on and it's just so frustrating 😭😭😭 Xxx

I was on Triphazel for years! I took the last pill on the 10th of April this year, had a withdrawl bleed on the 13th, ovulated on the 9th of March and had my first proper bleed on the 24th of March. It took me until this cycle (7 cycles post BC) before my cycle settled (28 days / 14 day LP). FX for you and so sorry to hear about your loss xxxx

Yeah when you come off the pill , your body does try to trick you by giving you pregnancy symptoms. As for the irregular cycles it may take ur body a bit to get back into its rhythm. Ive been off since sept 17 and i dont think mine has become regular as of yet.
