Before getting my BFP I ran twice a week roughly and did an insanity workout or 2, I take it I'm still OK to carry on doing so as it's what I've done before?

Also, I keep reading about I should be taking folic acid now I know I'm pregnant. If so, what's the best one to get?

Thanks :)

A certain amount of exercise is fine, particularly if it was what you were doing before, but I don't think continuing with insanity would be a good idea! Now that you are pregnant you will find that you loose your breath a lot easier and your heartbeat rises a lot faster and insanity is just far too high impact. Ideally you should have been taking folic acid for at east 3 months prior to conceiving, so, yes, definitely get some asap, any will do xx

I did a half marathon in Oct and run 4-5 times a week, but since getting my BFP I'm too scared to run! I know it's silly as the little bean wouldn't be affected but I'm such a worrier! Might take up swimming instead...

And I just take Asda folic acid, I'm sure it's not inferior to Holland & Barrett, it's all the same stuff!

Just been & brought some from super drug. Their version. I'm still guna do a couple runs I think, I feel I need too. I don't ever run far only ever 2-4miles twice a week x

Given you were running regularly before you should be fine continuing. However, it is important you listen to your body. If you are struggling, don't push through like you probably did before - ease up.

I tried to play badminton a few days before I discovered I was pregnant. I nearly passed out twice, but I kept pushing just thinking I was getting out of shape. My poor circulation system could not keep up with that and baby-making! Felt so bad about it when I got my BFP.

Google folate vs folic acid
Folic acid is the synthetic version, folate is better. It's found naturally in green leafy veg, and cauliflower and lentils, or look for a supplement that has folate rather than folic acid.
