Eventfull weekend :(

Well as the title says ive had an eventfull weekend.....up at the hospital! On saturday night all of a sudden i had horrendous pain in my right calf, phoned NHS24 and they wanted me to be seen as they thought it maybe DVT, so 11pm gets my son out of bed and up to hosp....Dr didnt know what was wrong with my leg but didnt think it DVT! So i come home again.

This morning 6am gets up to the toilet and im bleeding!! Phoned the EPU who want to see me, so son out of bed and up to hosp for 6.30! Midwife checked baby's hearbeat which was fine so she did a speculum examination....she was very rough and made me bleed alot more, checked my cervix which was closed but it is very swollen and sore looking. Told me to expect a bit more bleeding today but if it carrys on to go back.

I wish life would just run smoothly im fed up of constantly being worried

Oh hun...

I'm sure you will be fine as the baby's heartbeat is ok, and you have been checked out. My SIL had a heavy bleed at 12 weeks and now has a happy, bouncing five month old to show for all the worry.
They told her at the hospital that the cervix becomes very vascular in pregnancy and not to worry, she didn't even have to have bedrest.

Thanks ladies, im lying on sofa still feeling very uncomfortable but baby is certainly letting me know know he/she is ok by the many kicks to my bladder!!

Rest up love as much as possible and if you at all worried then go back to be reassured, thats what they are there for xx

No ive not done anything, the most i do is walk my son to school everyday and the housework, Ive not even had sex since i found out i was pregnant as i was told not to due to previous losses
