Just wondered if any of you have heard, or had any experience of this?

My boss's wife gave birth a couple of weeks ago to an 8lb 11oz baby and didn't even tear (she even refused gas and air and breathed through it
). She puts the easy birth down to her using the Epi-No.
I haven't spoken to her, just my boss mentioned it. I didn;t really question further because I didn;t really fancy a conversation about perineal massage with my male boss
I had a really bad delivery with my first and ended up with a 3 way episiotomy and a shoulder dystocia. I need to wait til 36 weeks to see if they will be recommending a c-section, but I'd rather delivery naturally and a bit easier this time.
