I recently got a new job, whole process happened very quickly, so we discussed and decided getting pregnant right now wouldn't be ideal. I'm not sure on how businesses would handle the situation if I became pregnant so soon.
Anyways we dtd just after AF finished on July 6th(cd 5), and again on cycle day 9. Not done it since, I'm now on cycle day 19, I've been feeling quite nauseous all week but I was putting it down to me finaily growing a backbone and quitting my job as well as finding out about this new job .however just been for a pee and had reddish brown spotting in my pyjama bottoms. Wasn't there when I put them on after my shower around 8pm. I'm confused as we dtd so early on. The only one cycle where I tracked ovulation it happened around cycle day 20, that was during my May cycle.

Please help with some opinions or advice. X

Let's say you conceived after dtd on cycle day 9, you could have caught from ovulating up to 5 days later but more realistically 2 to 3 days after, so you'd still be a bit too early to test yet. If you caught from cycle day 6, you could possibly show on an early detection test now but I would say you'd be best waiting week before testing. If the brownish spotting is implantation bleeding, hcg will only just be starting, so giving it time to increase will give you a better chance of an accurate pregnancy test result.

Don't worry about work until you know you have to. Its just potentially undue stress that you don't need. Xx

I will most likely wait until af is due again, if it's late I will test then. Never had this reddish spotting before, so was shocked to see it. I've never felt nauseous before either, I'm either sick or not sick lol there's never been an in-between before. I stress very badly at any change, so me leaving a job and gaining a job in one week my head has been all over the place so I put the feeling sick and overwhelmed down to that.
Thank you for your comment. X

Yes, stress can easily come out in physical symptoms so could just be that and there are a number of reasons for occasional mid cycle spotting.

If you get to two weeks past af and negative pregnancy tests, just book in with your gp if you get any more spotting xx

This morning it was more brown than red, similar to what my AF ends like sometimes. I wonder if it was a mid cycle af :/

Difficult. I guess the only way to track now may be opk's and the occasional hpt?

Sorry can't help more but it still doesn't sound like your normal af so could still be pregnant. Maybe see if your gp will see you?
