Hi I had my twins a week ago today by csection and since I've been really over emotional and hormonal and the strangest things are upsetting me, I'm well over tiered too and I know this doesn't help, but I keep worrying about cot death too and something happening to them,
I'm constantly thinking about it and I hate it, I'm so scared that something's gonna happen to them,
Anyone else feel like this? X

Hi scattyash. Sorry you're feeling like this, I had baby blues, still got it a bit, I'm very happy but feel a bit flat.
I am also tired which doesn't help.
You've had a lot to deal with Hun.

Please mention how you are feeling to your midwife.
I mentioned about my dad dying in feb, and she said if I need any help just ask.
You may need to talk to someone, just to get all the worry and stress out, to someone who wants to listen.
Please don't bottle it up, you had a tough pregnancy too. I'm not surprised you are emotional. It can be like releasing a pressure cooker when the bubbas a re finally here.

I remember feeling like this. The smallest things set me off crying! It's totally normal, i think for me I started feeling gradually better from 3-4 weeks post birth. I think I still had the odd teary moment until 6 weeks. But being a mum now I'm definitely more emotional than I used to be. Not in a negative way though, I needed to be more understanding!

Hope you feel better soon but just relax and remember its normal to feel down, anxious and emotional in those first few weeks. X
