Embarrassing problem.

I wasn't sure if I should have put this post in here or not but I need some advice.
Recently my nipples have became cracked and painful. I was considering buying some nipple cream but I wanted to get some advice before I did incase it made the problem worse.

mmm, not really sure TBH but I would have thought nipple cream would be a good start and if they don't get any better then I would see your Dr.

its quite common, but still not very nice nipple cream should help, keep using it after it clears up too which it will soon hopefully. it'll probably come in useful for if you plan to breastfeed too x

I can't see it causing any problems and like someone else said I think it would be worth tryin that b4 seeing a doctor and your phamasist should be able to give advice.

Hi,

That stuff you can buy for when you are breastfeeding is pretty good. There is one in particular that is excellent but I can't for the life of me remember what it was called, and I think it was very hard to get hold of.

Nipple cream is worth a try - arrghh, I think I remember, think it was something like Lanolin (problem spelt wrong).

im having the same problem hun, i went in2 boots y'day and they do a few nipple creams, im going to try one of them and see how i get on x

Ouch and good luck with the cream. One way to look at it is that at least you are getting your nipples hardened early, most women go throuh this cracked nipple phase when breast feeding anyway. Yours will probably be very hardy by then.
